2024 Believing in Love ❤
Fences brought me here.
Hermosisima melodia Genial interpretacion
I saw them in Santa Barbara on the UCSB campus....great show !!! I scare myself just thinking about it !
Some won't play this song nowadays, because its lyrics do say something about the time and place where they were written. But it's a fine song, although Dabney sadly never recorded it himself, and we should stick to the music appreciation part here, leaving the sometimes ugly history of that era to others.
最初、歌っている人の声と顔が一致しなかったけど、イメージは黒人でした。
Saw David Grisman Quartet in SLC Utah in 1981, and in Teluride CO for the Bluegrass Festival! What a great memory!
One of the smoothest intros ever...and just one of my all-time faves❤😊
One of the greatest albums with the greatest players in bluegrass and jazz with the man himself Stephan Grapelli. Bought it in the late 70s and still get chills when l listen to it today the ultimate jazzgrass album known as Dawg music.
Laughter is good for the soul, to relieve stress, this. Is the right type of music , to listen. To so beautifull full of alot of emotions, will bring tears, to your eyes😢🎉🎉❤
I've been meaning to hear Anita and I came across her on the radio ------- COOL DADIO 😁
This takes me back to my days as a member of the Stroke Brothers. I was lucky enough to be the lead singer in a band that did this tune in our set . I miss those days and the incredible musicians that I got to work with. Two of them are gone now, the amazing Jesse Marquez the best bass player I’ve ever worked with and Dr Jeff Eaton a beautiful man who played great trumpet. Along with Ronnie Felix on drums, Ronnie Cruz on sax , Bill Overturf on guitar and Dave Aiken on keyboard we were the original Stroke Brothers from Riverside and San Bernardino California. I loved those guys and still do . This tune and another Buzz Feiten song called Jungle Walk were two of my favorites and we had a blast playing them. Great music and great memories !! ❤
I dare say my favourite album from them.
Dan and the original hot licks were fantastic.
He was great.
Morn the passing of one Richard betts
this song only went to #75 on the country charts in 1978!!!
I am pretty sure that I have this performance on an LP, supposedly from a transcription of a 1937 date at the Savoy Ballroom. It also features Billie Holliday on a couple vocal tracks. Simply amazing and listening to it never fails to put a smile on my face! 🔥🤩😍🎷🎶🎺🎹
body parts moving..?
For those in love..... Indeed
yes!

Always love this song from a child❤❤❤❤❤greattt song dorothy🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
サラヴォーンより好きですね~☺️🎶
another legendary Alabamian
Very very nice!
This song is one of my favorite since the first time I hear it
This is my favorite version of this song
saw Dan sing in SF
There's another version of this song where two female voices sing the line "and I come to town / just to hear the band" where they hit just the absolutely BLUEST notes. I have never found that version on UA-cam although I have it stashed away in my vinyl collection.
Sonny Stitt was said to be a Bird imitator, but he really had his own thing, and was a better tenor player than Bird. One of the greatest, state of the art bop musicians to ever live.
Great song. Great singer. She’s so wonderful!❤
😃
Loved and sill love this so much!
So little views!!!?? 😳 This is a BIG song!!! 🎶🥇🏆
Great memories.......

Now pay attention all of you liberal millennial rap fans, the um...."music" that you listen to is not worth a bucket of spit !!! Themes about car jacking, robbing, looting, smoking crack etc. is just so, so worthwhile and whole some......
